    Are you looking for a unique and cozy way to celebrate Thanksgiving this year? Do you love plants and flowers, and want to enjoy your meal in a beautiful and relaxing environment? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should consider having Thanksgiving dinner at The Cactus Club in Palm Desert. The Cactus Club is a mobile plant shop and café that offers a variety of services, such as plant delivery, plant styling, plant workshops, and plant parties. The Cactus Club also has a restaurant that serves delicious and fresh food, made with local and organic ingredients. The restaurant is located inside the Palm Desert Country Club, a golf course that offers stunning views of the mountains and the desert. The Cactus Club has a special Thanksgiving menu that includes a plated dinner with all the classic favorites along with some surprises. Also the Thanksgiving dinner will be served on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The cost for adults is $35.95, and for children aged 11 and under, it is $24.95. As space is limited, reservations are required. Here’s what you can expect from your Thanksgiving dinner at The Cactus Club:  A succulent turkey breast, roasted to perfection and basted with butter and herbs. The turkey is stuffed with onion, celery, carrots and apple, giving it a subtle sweetness and a moist texture. The turkey is served with a rich and savory gravy, made from the turkey drippings and chicken stock. A choice of two sides: creamy mashed potatoes or herb-roasted sweet potatoes. The mashed potatoes are made with butter, milk, salt and pepper, and are smooth and fluffy. The roasted sweet potatoes are tossed with olive oil, maple syrup, garlic, sage and thyme, and are caramelized and crispy on the outside, and soft and tender on the inside. A classic green bean casserole, made with fresh green beans, button mushrooms, garlic, cream of mushroom soup and fried onions. The casserole is baked until bubbly and golden, and has a creamy and crunchy texture. A homemade cranberry relish, made with fresh cranberries, orange peel, ginger, cloves and sugar. The relish is cooked until the cranberries burst and release their juices, and has a sweet and tangy flavor that compliments the turkey. A warm and fluffy biscuit, made with butter, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. The biscuit is brushed with melted butter and baked until golden and flaky, and is perfect for soaking up the gravy or spreading with cranberry relish. A slice of pumpkin pie, made with pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar, cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves. The pie is baked in a flaky pie crust and topped with whipped cream, and has a smooth and spicy flavor that is the perfect end to your meal. The dinner is served from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 23rd, and costs $35.95 for adults and $24.95 for children 11 and under.
