The Future of Short-Term Rentals in Palm Desert

However, STRs also pose some challenges for the city, such as noise, parking, trash, and safety issues. The city has been regulating STRs since 2009, and has recently updated its ordinances to address these issues and balance the interests of all stakeholders. STRs are subject to inspections, audits, and enforcement actions by the city. The city has a 24-hour hotline and an online complaint form for residents and visitors to report any problems with STRs. The city can issue warnings, fines, suspensions, and revocations for violations of the STR ordinances. The city hopes that these new regulations will help preserve the character and livability of Palm Desert, while allowing STRs to operate in a responsible and respectful manner. The city also encourages STR owners and operators to join the Palm Desert STR Association, a voluntary organization that promotes best practices, education, and communication among the STR industry. A classic green bean casserole, made with fresh green beans, button mushrooms, garlic, cream of mushroom soup and fried onions. The casserole is baked until bubbly and golden, and has a creamy and crunchy texture. A homemade cranberry relish, made with fresh cranberries, orange peel, ginger, cloves and sugar. The relish is cooked until the cranberries burst and release their juices, and has a sweet and tangy flavor that compliments the turkey. A warm and fluffy biscuit, made with butter, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. The biscuit is brushed with melted butter and baked until golden and flaky, and is perfect for soaking up the gravy or spreading with cranberry relish. A slice of pumpkin pie, made with pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar, cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves. The pie is baked in a flaky pie crust and topped with whipped cream, and has a smooth and spicy flavor that is the perfect end to your meal.
